How to connect home computer to IIT Network

If you are staying in IIT campus, and would like to connect your computer to the network, please do the following:

1. Check if you have the wall jack. If you don't have one, please contact the vendor.

2. You must have a LAN card and network cable. You can purchase it from any vendor.

3. Check for the IP address required for your system by clicking here. Please read the link carefully and follow the convention as explained.

Note: CC does not take the responsibility to configure your home computer.

Once you have configured your IP address, you have to configure proxy settings to connect to the Internet.
